Mr. Jones, has worked in the paper and nonwovens industry for 50
years. Frank began his career in the apprentice machinist program
of the Sandy Hill Iron and Brass Works in Hudson Falls, NY in 1951.
He completed his apprenticeship and worked as a machinist until
1963.
Frank joined the Engineering department of Sandy Hill in 1963 in
the drafting department. Frank became a lead project designer for
projects that included complete specialty paper and wet laid nonwoven
machine lines.
Frank has extensive knowledge and experience in the development
and design of specialty wet end formers as well as press sections,
dryer sections, size presses, calendars, and reels.
Frank has visited numerous mills in his career to assist in the
mill site assembly and start-up of custom designed machinery.
