Mr. Riggi has over twenty five years of experience in the pulp and
paper industry. He has extensive knowledge in the specification,
design, construction and project management of machinery and auxiliary
systems for paper, board and specialty grades. He has held engineering,
sales and management positions with some of the leading suppliers
of custom designed machinery systems.
Mr. Riggi's career has offered him the opportunity to visit over
200 paper, board and specialty paper mills world-wide. He has participated
in numerous machine rebuild projects and new machine installations.
These experiences have provided him with extensive knowledge of
mill processes and systems for a wide range of paper grades. As
Vice President of the Hudson Falls Division of Valmet, Mr. Riggi
directed a strategic business unit that specified, designed, and
supplied machine lines to the pulp and paper and nonwovens marketplace.
Mr. Riggi has been an active member of the Technical Association
of the Pulp and Paper Industry (TAPPI) since 1977. He has been a
contributing author to TAPPI Press, published several technical
articles and has been a featured speaker at national and local TAPPI
technical sessions.
